EDMONTON — A southern Alberta police officer who killed an injured deer by repeatedly running it over with his Dodge Ram truck will not face any charges, as the body that oversees police conduct concluded this was the best option, compared to using a gun, a knife or bludgeoning the helpless animal to death with a tire iron or tactical baton.
